Flash: Greetings, Wonder Woman! You’re blessed! God is with you!

Wonder Woman: What do you mean?

Narrator: She was deeply troubled by what Flash said and wondered what this greeting might mean. Then Flash said to her –

Flash: Don’t be afraid Wonder Woman, because God is pleased with you. Listen, you will be gifted with a son, and you will name him Clark Kent. He will be the greatest superhero of all time! Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!

Wonder Woman: How can this be?

Flash: A star will fall from the sky and bring us a savior. He will be called Superman. And you will be his guardian.

Wonder Woman: I am the servant of God. As you have spoken it, so be it.

Narrator: Then The Flash left her.

Narrator: Now in Kansas were farmers out in the fields, keeping watch through the night. Some were fish farmers like Aquaman and some were corn farmers like Harly Quinn. Suddenly there stood before them The Flash and the splendor of the Speed Force shone round them. They were terror-stricken, but The Flash said: Don’t be afraid, for I have good news for you. It will be a joy to all the people. Today your Savior has landed in Smallville. He’s pretty super. This is how you will know him: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths in the middle of a corn field.

Narrator: All at once there was with The Flash a great company of superheroes were praising God saying…

Everyone: Gloria in Excelsis Deo!

Then Lex Luthor summoned the Wise Superheroes secretly and ascertained from them when the Shooting star had appeared. And he sent them to Smallville, saying:

Lex Luthor: Go and search diligently for the Baby, and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and see him.
